The 2016 Homeless Prevention & Response Fund
Request for Proposals is Now Available

The Department of Housing (“DOH”) is pleased to announce the 2016 Homeless Prevention and Response Fund (HPRF) Administrator Request for Proposals (RFP) directed to organizations that assist DOH in administering the HPRF program.  The goal of HPRF is to provide capital funding to eligible property owners to make needed repairs to or provide operating subsidies for existing but as yet uninhabited units and in return for this funding the property owners will rent these units to individuals that are homeless in connection with DOH’s rapid rehousing or supportive housing program.  Approximately $1,500,000 is anticipated to be made available pursuant to this RFP.

Applications for funding under this RFP must be submitted to DOH no later than Tuesday March 15, 2016 at 3:00 p.m.  Prior to February 23, 2016, applicants may contact Steve DiLella with any questions.  Questions received by DOH and DOH’s answers thereto will be posted on the Website on a rolling basis.  The RFP can be viewed at the DOH website or by clicking here.  Copies of the RFP may be obtained in hard copy by contacting Steve DiLella.
