The goal of the YHDP housing choice program is to provide decent, safe and sanitary housing at an affordable cost to unstably housed youth, homeless youth and youth families. To accomplish this, program regulations set forth basic Housing Quality Standards (HQS) which all units must meet before assistance can be paid on behalf of a youth or youth family. In order to meet this program regulation CCEH will be conducting an HQS Inspection training on September 11th, 2019, from 1:00pm – 4:00pm that will provide the performance requirements and acceptability criteria to meet each performance requirement. HQS includes requirements for all housing types, including single and multi-family dwelling units. Upon completion of this training all attendees will be qualified to successfully complete HQS Inspections for YHDP participants, who are leasing/renting new housing units.
*This training is for YHDP Grantees and Sub-grantees only*
