Michelle Pomerantz

Michelle Pomerantz is the Program and Development Associate at the Connecticut Coalition to End Homelessness. Michelle attended the University of Massachusetts Amherst where she received her Bachelors of Science in Public Health before continuing onto the University of Connecticut where she received her Masters of Public Health and a certificate in nonprofit management.

While at UMass, Michelle worked at the American Cancer Society, organizing the University’s Relay For Life event which brought in over $100,000 each year. Michelle also worked on an initiative, Team Henry which focused on training college students to teach children in elementary school classrooms about healthy lifestyle habits.

While Michelle pursed her Masters of Public Health she also worked at the Alcohol and Other Drug Office assisting students in receiving education and information regarding alcohol and drug use. Michelle also served as the Vice President of the UConn Public Health Student Organization, and on both the curriculum and alumni committee as a student representative. Michelle looks forward to starting her career at CCEH and working to improve the community we live in.
